Congratulations John Hibbard, 2007 UK Wave Champion. John is an incredible competitor and his steely determination and tactical approach has taken him to the top of UK Wavesailing. Congratulations also to Mikey Clancy, the newly crowned Irish Junior Wave Champion. "I was able to win one round of the Men's competition and come 2nd in another round of the Men's. This left me in 2nd place overall for the final round of the IWA Men's wave competition and First place in the Junior Wave Competition in Belmullet." Mikey's win in the juniors at Belmullet secured his domination of the Junior fleet, giving him the Junior Title.

Peter Hart one of windsurfing's best known characters and technique guru has spent some time on the TurfDog boards. He is very impressed with the learning capabilities of the boards and now has a TurfDog with him for all his UK clinics. So if the wind is light his clients can receive active coaching on the dirt windsurf boards.

With not enough wind for wave sailing competition at the Corona Extra PWA Tiree event pro sailors have been entertaining themselves with the TurfDog dirt windsurf boards. Highlights were Josh Angulo steaming down the beach at full speed past the spectators, Moroccan Star Boujmaa Guilloul's crazy flakas and the new freestyle champion Maricilo Browne showing his skills pulling of the lastest freestyle tricks.
