This years Tiree wave classic was an awesome event with waves and wind most days, between the heats and practice on the water, many UKWA riders made the most of the TurfDog demo boards available during the week long event. Well done John Skye for winning the event, and Andy Groom from GMF CO for once again putting together a superb wave classic.

The highlight of the UK wavesailing year is the Tiree Wave Classic, a week long contest held on a small Hebridean Island west of Mull. TurfDog have attended the event and are on stand by for any light wind days. Two days of competition have been completed so far, and in the Pro Mens John Skye leads ahead of Phil Horrocks in second. White Air - the extreme sports festival held on the Isle of Wight, was a great event this year with masses of extreme sports taking place. The windsurfing national freestyle championship was meant to be happening but it was unable to go ahead due to light winds. Instead a TurfDog freestyle competition was held. The beach was alive with the latest freestyle tricks being pulled of heat after heat. Results, report and photos of the contest.

Adam has already been supporting TurfDog teaching windsurfers at his windsurfing club in Portsmouth with the TurfDog land windsurf boards. He has learnt a huge amount of freestyle over the last few months and long may it continue... check out his land windsurfing video.
